Avocado oil (Persea gratissima) — high in chlorophyll; nature’s special antioxidant, which helps scavenge free radicals. Features phytosterols, a group of plant ingredients which provide protection from water loss in the skin and increase the surface lipids. Contains lutein, a component that helps absorb UVA light, allowing natural sun-screening properties higher than those found in other plant oils.
Rosehip oil (Rosa canina) – rosehip oil contains 80% essential fatty acids (EFA’s); predominantly linoleic (40-46%) and linolenic (33-40%), but also oleic (15-17%) and palmitic fatty acids (3-4%). Rosehip oil is said to have very good regenerative, restructuring, softening, moisturizing and film-forming properties.
How to use: Apply as a moisture treatment at sunrise or sunset by lightly stroking 1-4 drops into your face, neck and cleavage. Use alone as a moisturiser or underneath any of our Antipodes Moisturisers. A fabulous base for make-up.
