Inlight Organic Nyp Balm 28ml
A highly nourishing organic balm for women who have chosen breastfeeding as the most eco-sustainable and healthy way of feeding their baby. Also useful during pregnancy when the breast undergoes changes provoked by new hormones.
Suitable for all skin types and vegetarians, all ingredients in Nyp Balm are food grade, do not alter the flavour of the maternal milk and are easily tolerated by babies.
This formulation is a blend of highly nourishing, moisturising and soothing oils (olive oil & coconut) combined with those with a high natural concentration of Vitamin E (tocoferol) and antioxidants (evening primrose, jojoba, sunflower, sesame oils). We have called this blend of oils, of high affinity with the lipidic layer of the epidermis, Bio-Lipophylic Matrix.
Rose hip oil (rosa rubiginosa) contains high levels of omega 6 and omega 3 essential fatty acid and transretinoic acid, an isomer of Vitamin A, with its well-known rejuvenating and healing action on the skin. Rose hip oil works synergistically with carrot oil, rich in carotene, a precursor of Vitamin A. The healing and cytophylactic qualities of marigold and plantain are combined with those of
gotu kola, horsetail and nettle to improve elasticity and promote regeneration of the skin cells.
The astringent properties of lemon and rose are combined with the antibacterial actions of palmarosa and lavender oils. The lavender and palmarosa essential oils also assist in keeping the nipple free from germs in the most natural possible way.
During pregnancy the breast undergoes certain changes provoked by the new hormones in the system, in preparation for its forthcoming task of feeding the new-born baby. During this very important period, the breast swells as the skin stretches and the nipple becomes enlarged. Nyp Balm, with its nourishing and regenerative qualities, can help the skin to stretch safely and prevent stretch-marks.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
During pregnancy, gently massage a little balm into the breast every day, working outwards from the nipple in a circular motion.
Before feeding, cleanse the nipple with a muslin cloth or cotton wool and plenty of warm boiled water. After feeding, rinse the nipple well and gently massage a tiny amount of balm onto the nipple area.
This product is suitable for vegetarians and is compatible with homeopathic treatment.
