This is a lovely cream for my sensitive, dry, 34 year old skin with some fine lines. It smells quite strong (of roses) for a naturally perfumed cream, and does contain alcohol. When I tried a sample I expected my skin to react or flare up, but it was very soothing. My skin actually looked visibly calmer, less red and dehydrated. I hesitated to buy a tube as it's fairly expensive, but I have because the cream goes a long way. My skin looks less tired, but I've only had it for a week so I can't judge its long term effects.
